Sexual Assault Suspect Captured by Wyoming Fugitive Task Force

Casper, WY - On April 7th, 2016, members of the United States Marshals Service Wyoming Fugitive Task Force (WFTF), along with members of the Natrona County Sheriff’s Office arrested fugitive Gage Markgraf, 19, on charges of 1st Degree Sexual Assault of a Minor under 13 years of age.

The case had been under investigation by the Natrona County Sheriff’s Office since June 2015 after being notified by the 12 year old victim’s school teachers. A warrant was issued for the arrest of Markgraf on April 6th, 2016 and the fugitive was apprehended shortly thereafter. Markgraf was transported and booked into the Natrona County Detention Center and if facing a 50 year sentence if convicted.
