U.S. Marshals Task Force Arrests Cincinnati Rape Suspect in Arizona
Phoenix, AZ - The U.S. Marshals’ Arizona Wanted Task Force arrested fugitive John L. Noe on March 11, 2016 on an outstanding warrant from the Hamilton County Common Pleas Court, Cincinnati, Ohio.

Noe, 27, was wanted by the Hamilton County Sheriff’s Office for 2 counts of Rape, Gross Sexual Imposition, and Unlawful Sexual Conduct with a Minor. Noe allegedly raped a female victim in the Colerain Township, Ohio area in October 2015. The fugitive investigation was assigned to a Hamilton County Sheriff’s Detective and a Colerain Township Police Detective who are Task Force Officers with the U.S. Marshals’ Southern Ohio Fugitive Apprehension Strike Team (SOFAST). SOFAST received information Noe fled Ohio and traveled to the State of Arizona. The U.S. Marshals’ Arizona Wanted Task Force in the Phoenix Office was contacted and they quickly located Noe in the Phoenix, Arizona metro area and arrested him on the outstanding charges.

Noe is currently in the custody of the Maricopa County Sheriff's Office and will soon be extradited back to Cincinnati, Ohio. U.S. Marshal Pete Tobin said, “This serves as a reminder to those who prey on our citizens. When law enforcement agencies work together, there is nowhere a fugitive can hide.”

Cincinnati’s SOFAST is a fugitive focused, U.S. Marshals Service-led task force consisting of local, state, and federal authorities including the Hamilton County Sheriff’s Office, Bureau of Criminal Investigation, Butler County Sheriff’s Office, Colerain Township Police Department, Newtown Police Department, Warren County Prosecutor’s Office, Harrison Police Department, and the St. Bernard Police Department.

U.S. Marshals are the nation’s primary fugitive hunting organization and capture more federal fugitives each year than all other law enforcement agencies combined.
