|Fugitive of the Week Wanted for Armed Bank Robbery Arrested in Manchester Apartment|
NH – A short time ago, Fugitive of the Week, Ryan Michael Murphy was
arrested in a Manchester apartment by members of the U.S. Marshal’s, NH
Joint Fugitive Task Force. Ryan Murphy, 28, was last known to be homeless in
the Manchester, NH area, was wanted on an arrest warrant issued by the
Manchester Police Department for armed bank robbery. On April 19th, Murphy
is alleged to have robbed the Citizen’s Bank branch located at 688 South
Willow Street in Manchester. During this bank robbery, Murphy was observed
on surveillance cameras handing the teller a note stating that he had a gun
and to give him money.
Since the inception of the New Hampshire Joint Fugitive Task Force in 2002, these partnerships have resulted in over 5,523 arrests. These arrests have ranged in seriousness from murder, assault, unregistered sex offenders, probation and parole violations and numerous other serious offenses. Nationally the United States Marshals Service fugitive programs are carried out with local law enforcement in 94 district offices, 85 local fugitive task forces, 7 regional task forces, as well as a growing network of offices in foreign countries.
