Last of Four Suspects in Armed Robbery and Assault Apprehended in Winston-Salem, NC

Winston Salem, NC – This morning at 11:00 AM, Khristey Shanee Lindsey, a 24 year old, Black Female was arrested by the U.S. Marshals Joint Fugitive Task Force (JFTF) and the Winston Salem Police Department. Lindsey was wanted by the Winston Salem Police Department for Robbery with a Dangerous Weapon and Assault with a Deadly Weapon Inflicting Serious Injury. It’s alleged that on March 13, 2013, Lindsey, in conjunction with three others, committed this robbery using a baseball bat.

Investigators arrested Lindsey at Underwood Avenue near Northwest Boulevard in Winston Salem. Lindsey was booked into the Forsyth County Detention Center pending resolution of these charges. Lindsey was the last of the four suspects involved in this incident to be apprehended. The other three subjects have already been taken into custody and have pending court proceedings in Forsyth County. The JFTF does not have any further information regarding the remaining subjects.

The U.S. Marshals Joint Fugitive Task Force for the Middle District of North Carolina is comprised of investigators from the U.S. Marshals Service, Chapel Hill Police Department, Durham Police Department, Greensboro Police Department, High Point Police Department, Winston Salem Police Department, Alamance County Sheriff’s Office, Orange County Sheriff’s Office, and the North Carolina State Highway Patrol.
