New Mexico’s Most Wanted Adds a New Violent Offender

Roswell, NM - In July of 2013, Richard Gee fled from law enforcement in a vehicle stolen from a Hobbs, NM car dealership. During the chase, Gee took law enforcement through two different states to include New Mexico and Texas before running out of gas. Gee was arrested and posted bond. After posting bond Gee has since gone on the run. Gee is currently wanted on five (5) warrants. He currently has four outstanding warrants for Failure to Appear for Jury Trial, Failure to Appear for Pre-Trial Conference and a Bench Warrant through the 5th Judicial District Court for the following charges; Aggravated Assault upon a Peace Officer with a Deadly Weapon, Aggravated Fleeing a Law Enforcement Officer, Possession of a Controlled Substance, Unlawful Taking of a Motor Vehicle, Use or Possession of Drug Paraphernalia, Possession of Firearm or Destructive Device by a Felon, Driving while License Suspended or Revoked, Receiving Stolen Property, and Tampering with Evidence. The fifth warrant is through Magistrate Court for Aggravated Fleeing a Law Enforcement Officer.

Deputies with the United States Marshals Service are actively trying to find Gee. Authorities Believe Gee to be armed and dangerous. Anyone with information on Gee or his whereabouts are asked to contact the United States Marshals Service. All information obtained will remain confidential.
