Muskogee Man Arrested in Albuquerque

Albuquerque, NM – November 13, 2013, Deputy United States Marshals and officers on the SWIFT (Southwest Investigative Fugitive Team) task force arrested Loyn Wayne Toney in the 5800 block of Anderson in Southeast Albuquerque, NM. Loyn was wanted out of Muskogee County, Oklahoma, where he is charged with multiple counts of Forcible Oral Sodomy and Lewd Molestation. Deputy Marshals from the Eastern District of Oklahoma’s Violent Crime Fugitive Task Force began working the case on Loyn November 4, 2013, and quickly identified that Loyn relocated to New Mexico. Loyn, an already convicted and registered Sex Offender in Oklahoma transferred his registration to New Mexico and was found living in Bernalillo County. When Deputies arrested Loyn, he was found in the company of another registered sex offender who was also wanted out of Oklahoma on new Rape charges, but the warrant for Loyn’s friend was not extraditable outside of Oklahoma. Loyn was booked into the Metropolitan Detention Center in Bernalillo County, NM, and is awaiting extradition back to Oklahoma.
