Attempted Murder Suspect Arrested

Albuquerque, NM - The United States Marshal Service in New Jersey arrested a man accused in Albuquerque, NM of attempted murder. Frederico Enrique-Perez, (47) was one of the United States Marshals Service District of “New Mexico’s Most Wanted”. Enrique-Perez was wanted by the Albuquerque Police Department for attempted murder after stabbing a man several times with a knife. Enrique-Perez was added to the Marshals Service “New Mexico’s Most Wanted” program because of this violent crime and his ties to the states of Florida, Michigan, Georgia, New Jersey and New Mexico.

Investigators assigned to the United States Marshals Service Southwest Investigative Team (SWIFT) Task Force worked with Investigators for the Marshals Service in Florida, Michigan, Georgia, and New Jersey and developed information that Enrique-Perez was staying at an address in New Jersey. Deputy United States Marshals and Task Force Officers with the Marshals Service New York Regional Task Force were able to locate Enrique-Perez in Union City, New Jersey and arrested him without incident. Enrique-Perez will be held in New Jersey pending extradition back to New Mexico.
