Las Vegas, NV – Buddy and Sharon Anderson, a couple wanted on state charges stemming out of Texas, were arrested late Tuesday afternoon by members of the U.S. Marshals led fugitive task force Nevada FIST (Fugitive Investigative Strike Team) and the Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department.

Buddy and Sharon Anderson were being sought on warrants issued by the Ennis (TX) Police Department on charges of possession of child pornography. The couple was apprehended without incident in the vicinity of Owens Avenue and Las Vegas Boulevard. They were booked into the Clark County Detention Center and are awaiting extradition back to Texas.

United States Marshal Christopher Hoye III stated that, “Many fugitives attempt to run and hide in our great state. However, the united law enforcement community has again brought fugitives to justice.”

Nevada FIST is a permanent task force that brings together the resources and expertise of state, local, and federal agencies in a coordinated effort to arrest dangerous and violent fugitives. Nevada FIST is led by the U.S. Marshals and is comprised of Deputy U.S. Marshals and law enforcement officers from the Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department, the Nevada Department of Public Safety, and the Nevada Department of Corrections.
