Local Suspect in Rape of a Five Year Old Victim Arrested in Cherokee County, NC
Cincinnati, Ohio – In the early evening hours of 04/14/2010, Waco “White Wolf” Tohausen, 37 years old, was arrested by the Cherokee County Sheriff’s Department in Murphy, NC. Tohausen, indicted for Rape and Pandering Sexually Oriented Materials involving a five year old victim. The crimes, which were committed back in 2007, where recently indicted back on December 21, 2009. Tohausen is associated with a Wiccan Group known as the Temple of the Crystalline Star and the Lustration of the Ancestors.

On 04/14/2010, the Southern Ohio Fugitive Apprehension Strike Team (SOFAST), Cincinnati Division developed information that Tohausen was hiding out in the Murphy, NC area. Task Force Officers tracked Tohausen to a local community college where he was enrolled as a student. Acting on the information provided by members of SOFAST, the Cherokee County Sheriff’s Department arrested Tohausen in a classroom at the Tri County Community College in Murphy, NC. Tohausen is being held at the Cherokee County Jail on a $750,000 bond while awaiting extradition back to Hamilton County, OH.

SOFAST is a multi-jurisdictional task force comprised of the U.S. Marshals, Cincinnati Police Department, Butler County Sheriff’s Office, Ohio Adult Parole Authority, U.S. Department of Agriculture OIG, Warren County Prosecutor’s Office, Sharonville Police Department, and the U.S. Attorney’s Office.

U.S. Marshals are the nation’s primary fugitive hunting organization and capture more federal fugitives each year than all other law enforcement agencies combined.
