Marshals Task Force Arrests 3 Fugitives; Suspects in Three Separate Shootings
Pensacola, FL - The U.S. Marshals Florida Regional Fugitive Task Force arrested three wanted felons within 12 hours of each other, all being sought on shooting charges including one from Seattle, Washington. Michael Dominique Donson, a 17 year-old from the East Hills area of Pensacola is wanted by Escambia County Sheriff’s Office as a suspect in the May 15th shooting of a young teenage girl. Last Friday a 17 year-old girl was shot in the hip about 10p.m. near the corner of Pace Boulevard and Lee Street in Pensacola. Although her injuries were serious they were not life-threatening. At about 9 p.m. last night, Donson was taken into custody after Deputy Marshals and Task Force members from Escambia Sheriff’s Office and Pensacola Police Department chased him into a building and had to force their way into an apartment located in the Jasmine Creek Apartments on 9th Avenue in Pensacola. He was taken into custody without further incident. Donson is being charged with Aggravated Battery with a Deadly Weapon, Use or Displaying of a Weapon During a Felony and Discharging a Firearm from a Vehicle. Donson is also wanted by the Pensacola Police Department for charges of Grand Theft Auto.

At about 10:00 a.m. this morning Task Force members from FDLE and deputies from the Escambia County Sheriff’s Office Gang Unit caught up with Aaron Lewis Hunter after a foot chase through the Avondale area of Pensacola. They eventually captured him on the 3000 Block of Donley Street. Hunter, 21, is wanted on warrants in Escambia County charging him with Aggravated Assault with a firearm and Battery /Domestic Violence. He is also currently being investigated for Aggravated Stalking in which a warrant is anticipated to be issued for later today. According to police reports, Hunter was involved in a fight with several other men and pulled a gun shooting one of them in the foot.

At about the same time, Danavian Monchae Hunter, (no relation) 34, was arrested at mobile home located at the 8000 Block of Handicare Street in the Ensley section of Pensacola. U.S. Marshals and Task Force members from Escambia and Santa Rosa Counties as well as Pensacola Police Department arrested Hunter after a brief standoff where Hunter would not come out of the residence. He eventually surrendered to the Task Force without further incident. Hunter originally from Pensacola, is wanted in Seattle for Unlawful Possession of a Firearm and Drive By Shooting. According to police reports, In August of 2008, Hunter got into an argument with ex-girlfriends boyfriend and pulled out a gun. The boyfriend ran into a house and Hunter allegedly fired three shots into the house. Hunter also has 2 outstanding warrants from 1999 in Escambia County for Failure to Appear on a traffic violation.

All suspects were taken to the Escambia County Jail and booked in, however Donson was booked in as a juvenile.

The Florida Regional Fugitive Task Force in Pensacola is comprised of officers from the U.S. Marshals Office, Florida Department of Law Enforcement, Escambia, Okaloosa and Santa Rosa County Sheriff’s Offices, Milton, Pensacola, Ft. Walton Beach and Niceville Police Departments.
