District News: February 27, 2018 - The long awaited capture for Texas fugitive Freddie Alaniz is finally over. Alaniz was arrested yesterday in Cancun, Quintana Roo, Mexico. The fugitive is the alleged suspect in a 2006 murder of a San Antonio man. Alaniz also had other outstanding arrest warrants involving sexual assault of a child and possession of marijuana. He quickly made the Texas Department of Public Safety’s Top-10 Most Wanted Fugitives list. Read More
