August 18, 2016 - Donaldo Velasquez, a fugitive wanted for violently stabbing a man to death after posing as a Lyft driver, was arrested yesterday by members of the U.S. Marshals-led Joint East Texas Fugitive Task Force.

May 26, 2016 - Donovan Mark Herisse, a fugitive wanted for violently beating and raping a woman he met on the online dating website, “Plenty of Fish,” was arrested on May 24th in Piedmont, South Carolina by a team of law enforcement officers led by the U.S. Marshals.

May 10, 2016 - Efrain Serrano-Ramirez was arrested in Tyler, Texas by the U.S. Marshals Joint East Texas Fugitive Task Force. Serrano-Ramirez was considered armed and dangerous. He had warrants from the Los Angeles Police Department for Murder relating to his involvement in a shooting that happened at a gas station in 2006.

April 19, 2016 - On April 18, 2016, the U.S. Marshals-led Joint East Texas Fugitive Task Force arrested Anthony John Yanis on charges of Aggravated Assault with a Deadly Weapon.

March 24, 2016 - Jonnie Warren, Jr. was arrested in Kilgore on Wednesday, March 23rd for a Homicide and Aggravated Robbery warrant out of Tarrant County. Warren allegedly shot a woman in Ft. Worth and stole her vehicle on Tuesday, March 22nd.

March 22, 2016 - The U.S. Marshals-led Joint East Texas Fugitive Task Force arrested Jermaine Webster Harris on charges of Carjacking, Possession of a Firearm in Furtherance of a Violent Crime, Theft of Firearms and Possession of a Stolen Firearm.

March 18, 2016 - Jaaquan Colelyn Brown was arrested by the U.S. Marshals Service Task Force in Tyler, Texas. Brown was wanted for two Probation Violations for the original offenses of Burglary and Assault of a Public Servant. In February, 2015, Brown assaulted two Tyler Police Officers while being arrested.

October 15, 2015 - Three Smith County fugitives wanted by the U.S. Marshals Joint East Texas Fugitive Task Force were located and arrested by Mexico’s National Institute of Migration in San Jose Del Cabo, Mexico. James Mitchell Zachary, Brandy Yvette Rucker, and Dawn Rae Barron were given a one way flight, and escorted by the Mexican Federal Police to Houston, Texas to be delivered over to the U.S. Marshals.

August 31, 2015 - Justin Lee Paul was wanted for a Texas Parole Violation for the original offense of Aggravated Sex Assault of a Child. On August 30th, the U.S. Marshal’s Joint East Texas Fugitive Task Force officers arrested Paul in Jacksonville, TX.

May 15, 2015 - U.S. Marshals in Spokane, Washington arrested Robert Dean Reese, a Smith County fugitive that has been on the run for thirteen years. Since 2002, Reese has been wanted by the Smith County Sheriff’s Office for Aggravated Sexual Assault of a Child and several Indecency With a Child Warrants.

May 13, 2015 - The U.S. Marshal’s Joint East Texas Fugitive Task Force arrested a homicide suspect from Logansport, LA. The task force received a tip from Tyler-Smith County Crime Stoppers indicated that the suspect, Jacorroyn Lavell Wilson, was at a residence in the Pine Creek Town Homes in Tyler, Texas.

January 23, 2015 - Paul Ray Bass was arrested by the U.S. Marshals Gulf Coast Violent Offenders Task Force in Houston, Texas. Bass has been on the “Texas Top Ten Most Wanted Sex Offender” list since January 9, 2015.

September 05, 2014 - The Smith County Sheriff’s Office, assisted by the U.S. Marshals Joint East Texas Fugitive Task Force, arrested eighteen Smith County registered sex offenders for various violations, including failing to comply with sex offender registration requirements.

April 21, 2014 - U.S. Marshals Joint East Texas Fugitive Task Force arrested a Pennsylvania fugitive who was wanted for more than 30 years on a 1981 murder charge. Joseph Lewis Miller was arrested this morning in Mineola, Texas where he was living under the alias of Roy Eugene Eubanks.

March 24, 2014 - Kevin Ray Morris, of Jacksonville, Texas was arrested by the U.S. Marshals Task Force in Cleveland, Ohio. Morris has been wanted since October 2013 on sexual offense warrants out of Jacksonville.

March 24, 2014 - Delanda Letregg Player was arrested on March 22nd by the U.S. Marshals Service - Western District of Louisiana in West Monroe, LA. Deputy U.S. Marshals in West Monroe were working with members of the Joint East Texas Fugitive Task Force when they were able to locate and arrest Player.
