September 24, 2018 - The U.S. Marshals Gulf Coast Regional Fugitive Task Force is seeking Christian Hall. He has warrants for his arrest for First Degree Murder and Especially Aggravated Robbery.

August 29, 2018 - A 2nd Degree Attempted Murder suspect’s flight from justice was ended by the U.S. Marshals Gulf Coast Regional Fugitive Task Force today. On May 23, 2017 Losona Shaw allegedly shot Joseph Carter in the chest. He was treated at Regional One Medical Center in Memphis. Shaw was charged with 2nd Degree Attempted Murder, Aggravated Assault, and Employing a Firearm While Attempting to Commit a Felony.

May 30, 2018 - An investigation into one murderer led to arrest of another attempted murderer. Joel Mccool was wanted for murder out of the Portland, Oregon area. Investigators with the Marshals Fugitive Task Force thought he might be in the Memphis area. The Sheriffs Fugitive Apprehension Team was brought in to assist. During the course of the investigation Lynn Gillespie was arrested by the U.S. Marshals Task Force. He had a warrant out of Shelby County for Attempted 2nd degree murder and Aggravated Assault.

February 22, 2018 - Christopher Lawrence was arrested earlier today for sixteen separate sex crimes by the U.S. Marshals Gulf Coast Regional Fugitive Task Force. Lawrence was wanted by St. Charles County, Missouri for the following: one count of 1st degree child molestation, two counts of 1st degree statutory sodomy, five counts of 2nd degree statutory sodomy, six counts of 2nd degree statutory rape, and two counts of 2nd degree rape.

January 18, 2018 - Numbers-wise, 2017 was a good year for the U.S. Marshals Gulf Coast Regional Fugitive Task Force, Memphis office. The task force had a total of 487 arrests. To break those numbers down further, that includes 26 arrests for murder, 65 arrests for sex crimes, five arrests for kidnapping, and 107 weapons related arrests.

 January 18, 2018 - Accused murderer Mardeus Phillips, wanted for the Dec. 21 fatal shooting of Louis Lisi outside the North Nashville Z-Mart, was apprehended in Memphis by the U.S. Marshal's Fugitive Task Force, a Shelby County K-9 unit and the Shelby County Fugitive Apprehension Team.

April 28, 2017 - In 2017 the U.S. Marshals Gulf Coast Regional Fugitive Task Force has been placing extra emphasis on catching fugitives accused of sex crimes. Investigators with the task force located and arrested Larreal Brown in Los Angeles. Brown was wanted by Shelby County on accusations of Aggravated Rape, Aggravated Kidnapping, Aggravated Robbery and Aggravated Assault.

March 08, 2017 - A months long search for a first degree murder suspect has ended today with the arrest of Rodricus Mason. On July 01, 2016, Roan Gardner Jr. was shot and killed outside of 2757 Kimball. In August 2017, a warrant was issued for the arrest of Rodricus Mason for this crime.

January 04, 2017 - The U.S. Marshals are warning the public of an ongoing jury duty telephone scam. It begins when the scammer, posing as a U.S. Marshal or other law enforcement officer, calls a victim to advise that he or she has missed federal jury duty but can avoid arrest by paying a fine immediately.

November 29, 2016 - A murder suspect was brought to justice this morning by the U.S. Marshals Gulf Coast Regional Fugitive Task Force. On July 4, 2015 Quincy Jett was shot multiple times while sitting in a vehicle in Memphis, TN. On October 31, 2016 a First Degree Murder warrant was issued for the arrest of Markavias Gray.

November 29, 2016 - Freddie Yarbor fled to Ridgeland, Mississippi but couldn’t hide from the U.S. Marshals. On November 10th a warrant was issued for the arrest of Freddie Yarbor on the charge of first degree Murder. He is accused in the August 20 shooting death of Jeromee “J Money” White.

November 09, 2016 - Terrance Harris fled to Minnesota after allegedly committing a murder. But he couldn’t avoid the U.S. Marshals. On 11/28/14 Jarmelle Jones was killed in the 600 block of N. Walnut Bend. A warrant was issued for the arrest of Terrance Harris by Shelby County for First Degree Murder.

November 04, 2016 - Marlin Rooks fled to Memphis, TN in order to evade a First Degree Murder, but he couldn’t escape the U.S. Marshals Gulf Coast Regional Task Force. It is alleged that on September 10th, in Clarkston, Georgia, Rooks shot Kiana Kirk in the face with a handgun, killing her.

October 12, 2016 - For months Cortez Rivers has been wanted for Rape of a Child and Aggravated Sexual Battery. Today the U.S. Marshals Gulf Coast Regional Fugitive Task Force brought him to justice.

September 19, 2016 - In a bid to escape justice, a fugitive tried to swim, run and fight his way past law enforcement this morning. But in the end he was unable to escape. The U.S. Marshals Gulf Coast Regional Fugitive Task Force and members of the M.P.D Mt. Moriah Precinct Task Force were looking for fugitive Alvertis Brown. Brown had warrants for his arrest on charges including; Rape of a child, Aggravated Sexual Battery, and two charges of Aggravated Assault.

October 07, 2015 - An alleged murderer was brought to justice yesterday by the U.S. Marshals Task Force. On 09/22/15 an arrest warrant issued by Shelby County for 1st Degree Murder for Courtney Crutcher. It is alleged that on 09/02/15, Crutcher killed Ralph Martin and injured Jeremiah Isom with a handgun.

August 19, 2015 - Dyterious Owens was arrested today for an alleged shooting incident that injured several people. On July 26, 2015, several people were shot in Memphis, including an eighty-one year-old woman and a three week old baby. Owens was charged with two counts of Criminal Attempt First Degree Murder and fourteen counts of Aggravated Assault.

July 31, 2015 - An attempted murder suspect’s three year flight from justice has ended today, thanks to the U.S. Marshals Gulf Coast Regional Fugitive Task Force. Tamika Jones was wanted for Criminal Attempt First Degree Murder and Aggravated Assault.
