District News: March 14, 2018 - On March 13, 2018, the U.S. Marshals Fugitive Task Force arrested Keith Tansil in Smyrna. Tansil was wanted by the Nashville Metro Police Department following an AMBER Alert out of Goodlettsville. Tansil is accused of taking three children at gunpoint early Sunday morning. The children were recovered shortly after the AMBER Alert was issued, while Tansil remained at large. As a result of the incident, the Goodlettsville Police Department charged Tansil with the following three counts: Interfering with an Emergency Call, Aggravated Assault with a Deadly Weapon, and Especially Aggravated Kidnapping.
