2016 - U.S. Marshals joined Ames Police in the manhunt
for a Fort Dodge man who was wanted for an August 9th shooting that
left one man hospitalized. The manhunt ended yesterday when a team
of federal, state, and local law enforcement officers, led by U.S.
Marshals, arrested Kevin Darnell Williams in Chicago.
2016 - A team of federal, state, and local law
enforcement officers arrested a convicted sex offender in Des Moines
on Friday following a month-long, multi-state manhunt for the
Missouri man. The U.S. Marshals Southern Iowa Fugitive Task Force
arrested Christopher Dean Harper in Des Moines on April 15th. Harper was wanted for Failure to Appear on a
drug charge in Christian County, Missouri.
2015 - A three-month manhunt for a Des Moines, Iowa
shooting suspect has ended with the fugitive’s arrest in Riverdale,
Illinois. A team of law enforcement officers led by U.S. Marshals
arrested James Matthew Butler on August 27th. Butler was wanted by
the Des Moines Police Department on three counts of Attempted
2015 - A team of law enforcement officers led by U.S.
Marshals arrested an Abilene, Texas man today on Des Moines’
Southside. Noe Lopez Trevino was wanted by the Abilene Police
Department in connection with the stabbing death of Lewis Maston in

Marshals have arrested a Chicago homicide suspect in Des Moines.
Daryl D. Lee was arrested by members of the Southern Iowa Fugitive
Task Force near the intersection of 27th Street and Boston Avenue in
Des Moines. Lee was wanted by the Chicago Police Department in
connection with the shooting death of Marquise Harris following a
dispute at a party on January 11.
- U.S. Marshals are searching for Derrick Dejuan Hoover. A federal
arrest warrant was issued for Hoover by the U.S. District Court for
the Southern District of Iowa on Tuesday, January 7. Hoover is
accused of violating conditions of federal release by walking away
from the Fort Des Moines Work Release Center.
