  • February 04, 2016 - The U.S. Marshals arrested a Cedar Rapids, Iowa man in Arizona who is wanted on charges of Sexual Abuse, involving a minor. Jerek Anthony Strouf is a suspect in a 2014 incident that occurred in Linn County, IA.
  • August 06, 2015 - Armando Garcia was arrested by members of the Northern Iowa Fugitive Task Force in Sioux City, Iowa. Garcia was wanted on a warrant for Aggravated Criminal Sexual Abuse that was issued in 2006 out of Cook County, Illinois. Garcia is also accused of violating his bond by failing to appear in court.
  • June 30, 2015 - Mitchell Meyer, a fugitive who fled the U.S. after failing to appear for trial in 1999, was arrested by Mexican Federal Police and Immigration Agents in coordination with the U.S. Marshals Mexico City, Mexico Foreign Field Office, and the Northern Iowa Fugitive Task Force in Sioux City, Iowa. Meyer was arrested by the Woodbury County Sheriff’s Office in February 1998 on 2 counts of Sexual Abuse of a Minor.
  • June 23, 2015 - A fugitive who fled after violating conditions of his pre-trial release was arrested by the Pacific Northwest Violent Offender Task Force in Tacoma, WA. Somsock Senlouangrat was released Sep. 14, 2003 on pre-trial release pending his trial after being arrested for Conspiracy to Distribute Methamphetamine, and Possession of a Firearm in Furtherance of Drug Trafficking.
  • June 11, 2015 - U.S. Marshals arrested a Cedar Rapids man today, wanted for Escape from previous charges of Intimidation with a Dangerous Weapon, Criminal Mischief, and First Degree Theft. Paul Hoff was charged in May by the Iowa Department of Correctional Services with Escape. Following the incident, the U.S. Marshals Service Northern Iowa Fugitive Task Force was requested to assist in the hunt for Hoff.
  • April 01, 2015 - The United States Marshal Service in the Northern District of Iowa is asking the public to share important public safety information anonymously with Marshals by sending them a secure text message about sex offenders who are suspected of violating the requirements of the Iowa Sex Offender Registry in the Northern District of Iowa.
  • March 17, 2015 - U.S. Marshals arrested a Cedar Rapids man today, wanted in Wisconsin on multiple charges of armed robbery, and battery. Christopher Green was charged in January 2015 by the Stevens Point Police Department for an Armed Robbery that had taken place. Following the incident, the Cedar Rapids Police Department and the U.S. Marshals Service Northern Iowa Fugitive Task Force was requested to assist in the hunt for Green.
  • February 05, 2015 - U.S. Marshals arrested a Cedar Rapids man today wanted on charges related to burglary and trafficking stolen firearms. Brandon Robertson failed to appear for sentencing in October 2014. Following the incident, the U.S. Marshals Service Northern Iowa Fugitive Task Force was requested to assist in the hunt for Robertson.
  • January 15, 2015 - The U.S. Marshals arrested an Indiana woman wanted on charges of Attempted Homicide. Danette Jones is a suspect in a 2014 attempted murder in Gary, IN. Gary Police Department Detectives obtained an arrest warrant for Jones on December 08, 2014, and began working with the U.S. Marshals Service Great Lakes Regional Task force, in the hunt for multiple suspects.
  • December 04, 2014 - The U.S. Marshals arrested a Cedar Rapids man wanted in connection with a September shooting. Elijah Morse was wanted on charges for Intimidation with a Dangerous Weapon, and Going Armed with Intent. Morse is a suspect in an incident that occurred on September 22nd, 2014 in Cedar Rapids, in which a residence was fired upon. Following the incident, the U.S. Marshals Service Northern Iowa Fugitive Task Force was requested to assist in the hunt for Morse.
  • October 20, 2014 - Tonight, the U.S. Marshals arrested William Yancey, a Cedar Rapids man wanted in four Iowa counties on multiple charges, including Burglary, Theft, Assault Causing Bodily, and Fraud.
  • October 02, 2014 - The U.S. Marshals arrested an Illinois man wanted on aggravated domestic battery charges in the state of Illinois. Larry N. Tribble was wanted on charges stemming from an incident that occurred in late August in Bloomington, Illinois in which a female victim was hospitalized, and subsequently underwent reconstructive surgery.
  • September 09, 2014 - The U.S. Marshals Service arrested a Cedar Rapids man in Marion this afternoon, who was wanted on charges involving a firearm. Andre Richardson had absconded from probation stemming from two (2) firearm related charges, as well as a forgery charge in Linn County.
  • July 09, 2014 - Today, the U.S. Marshals-led Northern Iowa Fugitive Task Force arrested a fugitive wanted on multiple felony escape charges. Marvin Hicks was apprehended at a residence in Cedar Rapids while task force members were conducting an interview regarding an unrelated fugitive investigation.
