April 03, 2018 - U.S. Marshal Don O’Keefe of the Northern District of California is proud to announce the arrest of Manuel Rodriguez, 27, who was wanted by the Ukiah Police Department for murder.

January 12, 2018 - The U.S. Marshals Service, Northern District of California, paid respect to former Deputy U.S. Marshal Wyatt Earp at his eternal resting place at the Hills of Eternity Memorial Park in Colma California (located approximately 5 miles South of San Francisco). Deputy Earp you may be gone, but not forgotten.

November 26, 2017 - John Bivins, 47, was captured by the U.S. Marshal led Pacific Southwest Regional Task Force in the 16000 block of Foothill Blvd in San Leandro, CA at approximately 9:30 am this morning. After the capture of Tramel McClough on Tuesday at a WalMart in Stockton, the task force, which is comprised of a multitude of law enforcement agencies, continued to search for Bivins.

September 28, 2017 - Two women who escaped from a northern California federal prison have been arrested in Mexico and returned to the United States.Irene Michell, 37, and Anna Armstrong, 34, are alleged to have escaped from FCI Dublin, a federal women’s minimum security prison camp, on the evening of Sept. 4 and have been sought by the U.S. Marshals ever since.

November 01, 2016 - The U.S. Marshals in the Northern District of California and the Pacifica Police Department have increased the reward and are renewing efforts to locate and arrest Ricardo Colindres, who is wanted in San Mateo County on two counts of Attempted Murder and Attempted Kidnapping after he shot a pregnant woman in Pacifica, California, on April 27, 2016.

November 01, 2016 - The U.S. Marshals in the Northern District of California and the Pacifica Police Department have increased the reward and are renewing efforts to locate and arrest Ricardo Colindres, who is wanted in San Mateo County on two counts of Attempted Murder and Attempted Kidnapping after he shot a pregnant woman in Pacifica, California, on April 27, 2016.

September 28, 2016 - The U.S. Marshals Service for the Northern District of California led a joint three-day fugitive sex offender apprehension and registration compliance initiative focusing on high-risk offenders. This three-day initiative, dubbed Operation “Humboldt 290”, resulted in the arrests of 6 sex offenders and the recovery of one juvenile, who was unlawfully residing with a sex offender.

July 25, 2016 - The United States Marshals Service in the Northern District of California is warning the public of a scam involving an individual or a group of individuals posing as a Deputy U.S. Marshal, and attempting to solicit “fines” from members of the public.

February 23, 2016 - Agustin Leon-Palomares was arrested by the U.S. Marshals Pacific Southwest Regional Fugitive Task Force, along with the assistance of the Salinas Police Department and the Santa Cruz County Sheriff’s Office, in Salinas, CA. Leon-Palomares had warrants out of Santa Cruz County and Monterey County for Terroristic Threats, Felon in Possession of a Weapon, and other charges.
