
The Honorable Jason C. Holt was sworn in as the U.S. Marshal for the Northern District of Oklahoma on August 24, 2026, following his confirmation by the United States Senate.
United States Marshal Holt oversees all United States Marshals Service operations in the Northern District of Oklahoma, including federal judicial security, court security, fugitive investigations and apprehension, sex offender and missing child investigations, prisoner operations, asset forfeiture, and service of process.
Marshal Holt began his law enforcement career as a State Trooper with the Oklahoma Highway Patrol in 2002. For over 24 years, Mr. Holt served the Oklahoma Highway Patrol in a wide range of operational, investigative, and leadership roles with increasing levels of responsibility. In July 2021, he was promoted to Lieutenant Colonel and served as Assistant Chief until his retirement on August 23, 2026.
Mr. Holt earned a Bachelor of Business Administration in Finance and a Master of Business Administration from Northeastern State University. His executive law enforcement education includes the 282nd Session of the Federal Bureau for Investigation (FBI) National Academy and the 48th Session of the FBI National Executive Institute. His professional memberships include the FBI National Academy Associates, the American Association of Police Polygraphists, and the International Association of Chiefs of Police.
