Office of Congressional AffairsFiscal Year 2012 Appropriation Funding On Thursday, November 17, 2011, the House and Senate passed, and the President signed, the bill that funds the Department of Justice for fiscal year 2012. The bill provides a total of $1.187 billion for the Marshals Service, a $47 million increase above our fiscal year 2011 level. Within this amount, Congress specified that up to $10 million in Salaries and Expenses and $8 million in Construction is to be used for Border enforcement initiatives. |
