David Demag, U.S. Marshal for the District of Vermont

David Demag, 59, is the retired Chief of Police for the Essex,
Vermont, Police Department, a position he held from 2001 to 2008. From
1996 to 2001 he served as Chief of Police for the St. Albans, VT, Police
Department, a position from which he also retired. During 1985-1986
Demag worked as a licensed realtor. He was also a member of the
Burlington, VT, Police Department from 1971 to 1996, rising through the
ranks to the grade of Commander. Demag has a bachelor’s degree from
Trinity College (2000) in Burlington, and an associate’s degree from
Burlington Community College (1990).
