George White, to be U.S. Marshal for the Southern District of Mississippi

George White, 54, is the Director of the Commercial Driver’s License Division and the Motor Carrier Safety Division for the State of Mississippi. He has been with the Mississippi Department of Public Safety since 1980, serving in several roles including as Director of the Driver Records Division, as an Examiner with the Driver’s License Bureau, and as a Trooper with the Department’s Enforcement Division. He was Mississippi’s Trooper of the Year in 1988. In addition to extensive professional training, Mr. White received a Bachelor of Science degree from Alcorn State University in 2009.
