Ed Sloane was born and raised in Washington, DC and began his law enforcement career with the Capitol Hill Police in 1986.  He then joined the U.S. Marshals Service in 1990, and has served in D.C. District Court, the Virgin Islands, and the Marshals Service’s headquarters division responsible for prisoner operations.  Sloane received his Bachelor’s degree from American University.
