Greensboro U.S. Marshals Arrest Second Suspect in Felony Child Abuse Case

Raleigh, NC – This afternoon, Jesse Antwon Lane, a 24 year old, Black Male, was arrested by the U.S. Marshals Joint Fugitive Task Force (JFTF), U.S. Marshals Violent Fugitive Task Force and the Durham Police Department. Lane and his girlfriend, Aamber Wunique Swann, 23, both of Windlestraw Drive in Durham, were wanted by the Durham Police Department for the following charges: one count of felony child abuse-serious bodily injury and one count of felony child neglect/abuse-serious physical injury.
Lane was arrested without incident at 204 Colleton Road in Raleigh.

Swann was arrested Friday by the Durham Police Department and placed in the Durham County Jail under a $750,000 bond.

The two were charged after their 3-month-old son was taken to the hospital last week for treatment of life-threatening injuries. The baby remains hospitalized.

The U.S. Marshals Joint Fugitive Task Force for the Middle District of North Carolina is comprised of investigators from the U.S. Marshals Service, Chapel Hill Police Department, Durham Police Department, Greensboro Police Department, High Point Police Department, Winston Salem Police Department, Alamance County Sheriff’s Office, Orange County Sheriff’s Office, and the North Carolina State Highway Patrol.
