|U.S. Marshals Fugitive Task Force Arrests York County Double Homicide Suspect|
Scranton, PA – United States Marshal
Martin J. Pane announced today that the U.S. Marshals Service (USMS)
Fugitive Task Force arrested Dejerek Smallwood, a 21-year old man, in York,
On December 12, 2013 Dejerek Smallwood was
arrested by the U.S. Marshals Fugitive Task Force out of the Middle District
of Pennsylvania without incident in the 100 block of North Penn Street in
York, PA. Smallwood was turned over to local authorities for processing.
The USMS worked jointly in this investigation with officers from the York City Police Department, York County Sheriff’s Department, York County District Attorney’s Office, Adams County Sheriff’s Department, Latimore Township Police Department, and the Pennsylvania State Police Fugitive Unit. The concept of all USMS-led fugitive task forces is to seek out and arrest the nation’s most dangerous offenders.
