 U.S. Marshals Seeking Public's Assistance

CONCORD, N.H. – The U.S. Marshals – N.H. Joint Fugitive Task Force is seeking the public’s assistance in locating ARMED & DANGEROUS fugitive Timothy Wayne Smith. Smith is wanted on an arrest warrant issued by the N.H. Department of Corrections Parole Board for violations of parole. Smith is on parole stemming from a prior conviction and sentence on an original offense of receiving stolen property.

Shortly after his release from the N.H. State Prison, Smith absconded from parole supervision. This resulted in the issuance of an arrest warrant for Smith in early August. While on the run, Smith has become the prime suspect in a string of recent burglaries in the Lebanon, Maine area. During these burglaries some firearms were stolen. Due to these serious allegations, Smith is considered to be ARMED & DANGEROUS.

Timothy Wayne Smith, age 22, is a white male, 5’09”, 155 pounds with black hair, and brown eyes. Smith has several tattoos including Boston Red Sox on his left forearm; and “1990,” a scorpion and demon face on his right forearm.

The U.S. Marshals are encouraging the public call with any information that could possibly assist in locating and arresting Smith. All callers can remain anonymous. If you have any information as to Smith’s location please contact the U.S. Marshals Joint Fugitive Task Force at 603-225-1632 or your local police.

Since the inception of the New Hampshire Joint Fugitive Task Force in 2002, these partnerships have resulted in over 5,523 arrests (updated 09/03/2013). These arrests have ranged in seriousness from murder, assault, unregistered sex offenders, probation and parole violations and numerous other serious offenses. Nationally the United States Marshals Service fugitive programs are carried out with local law enforcement in 94 district offices, 85 local fugitive task forces, 7 regional task forces, as well as a growing network of offices in foreign countries.
