Corpus Christi, TX - The Gulf Coast Violent Offender and Fugitive Task Force (GCVOFTF) arrested Johnny Reyes (21) for Aggravated Assault with a Deadly Weapon and Retaliation Against a Witness. Reyes was located in at the 600 block of 25th St in Corpus Christi, TX. The GCVOFTF and the Corpus Christi Police Department sounded the home and called Reyes out. Reyes surrendered to officers at the scene was taken to the Nueces County Jail in lieu of a $50,000 bond.

The Gulf Coast Violent Offender Fugitive Task Force is a team comprised of federal and state law enforcement officers throughout Southern District of Texas, to include U.S. Marshals, Corpus Christi Police Department, Nueces and Victoria Counties Sheriff’s Departments, and the Texas Department of Corrections. The task force objective is to seek out and arrest violent criminals, gang members, and sex offenders. U.S. Marshals-led district task forces arrested 86,400 state and local fugitives in FY 2011, clearing approximately 113,300 state and local felony warrants.
