San
Antonio, TX – Anselmo Rodriguez, 31, is the target of a fugitive
investigation by the Lone Star Fugitive Task Force after he fled while on bond,
awaiting sentence by a Bexar County Judge. Rodriguez was found guilty on
allegations involving continuous sexual abuse of a child and sentenced in
absència to a term of life in prison.
On Tuesday evening, the Bexar County District Attorney’s Office contacted the
Lone Star Fugitive Task Force to assist in the search for Rodriguez. Task force
officers are currently investigating all aspects of Rodriguez’s whereabouts.
Robert Almonte, United States Marshal for the Western District of Texas, states,
“We will pursue and explore all aspects of finding Rodriguez locally, state
wide, and even internationally until he is brought to justice.”
