St. Croix County, WI – The U.S. Marshals along with the Wisconsin Department of Corrections Sex Offender Registry Program, the St. Croix County Sheriff’s Department conducted a residence verification operation for registered sex offenders. On May 31st deputies checked the addresses of 42 registered sex offenders in St. Croix County. At least 1 has been found to be non-compliant. The Sex Offender Registry Program Specialist will investigate and make recommendations to the district attorney.

This initiative is part of the working relationship between the U.S. Marshals Sex Offender Investigations Branch and the Wisconsin Department of Corrections Sex Offender Registration Program which monitors all 22,055 Wisconsin Sex Offenders.
