San
Antonio, TX – Anthony Allen Ruston, of St. Paul, Minnesota was arrested by
the Lone Star Fugitive Task Force today just outside San Antonio. Ruston was
wanted for Failure to Register as a Sex Offender by the Ramsey County Sheriff’s
Department.
This Failure to Register charge stems from two previous convictions for Sex
Crimes involving females under the age of 13. This is the third time Ruston has
failed to register. The Lone Star Fugitive Task Force received information from
the Marshals Task Force in Minnesota that Ruston would be traveling to the San
Antonio area. After coordinating with the Marshals Task Force in Minnesota, Lone
Star Fugitive Task Force members were able to determine a location off I-35 and
Fisher Road and positively identify a truck that Ruston was said to be driving.
Task Force Deputies moved in and arrested Ruston without incident. The U.S.
