New Orleans, LA – United States Marshal Genny May proudly announced that the United States Marshals Service, Eastern District of Louisiana, in conjunction with Crime Stoppers, the New Orleans Police Department, Jefferson Parish Sheriff’s Office, Kenner Police Department, Orleans Parish Sheriff’s Office, and Louisiana Probation and Parole conducted a Greater New Orleans area fugitive roundup entitled “Operation Safe Summer,” from Sunday, July 17th through Thursday, July 21st. The results of the roundup were 105 fugitives arrested and 143 outstanding warrants cleared.

The United States Marshals Service and our partner agencies remain committed to the safety of our community and bringing those wanted for violating the law to justice.
