U.S. Marshals Captures Man Wanted Out of Alaska

Maui, HI – A fugitive wanted on an outstanding federal charge for drug conspiracy has been arrested by a team of law enforcement officers led by U.S. Marshals. On Tuesday, April 19, 2011 at approximately 7:15pm, U.S. Marshal Deputies along with Maui Police Department Officers, Maui Sheriff Deputies apprehended 31 years-old Brackston W. Moores without incident at Sprecklesville Beach in Paia. Moore was being sought on a warrant issued in the District of Alaska charging him with drug conspiracy. Moores is accused of possessing and distributing 400 grams or more of a mixture and substance containing a detectable account of fentanyl. He is currently being held in the Federal Detention Center in Honolulu pending extradition to Alaska.
