Reno, NV – The United States Marshals Service (USMS) led Fugitive Task Force, with the assistance of the Lyon County Sheriff's Office, arrested Warren Frank Tuer this afternoon in Yerington, Nevada. Tuer is wanted on an outstanding arrest warrant from Allegan, Michigan alleging 4 counts of criminal sexual conduct with a person under the age of 13. The investigation to locate Warren Tuer led Deputy U.S. Marshals to Yerington, Nevada. The subject was apprehended without incident and booked into the Lyon County jail.

District of Nevada U.S. Marshal Christopher Hoye stated, “This is yet another demonstration of our year
round commitment to protecting the children of our community from sex offenders. We will continue to
dedicate resources in order to aggressively pursue and arrest these fugitives.”

The Nevada Fugitive Investigative Strike Team (FIST) is a permanent task force which brings together the resources and expertise of state, local and federal agencies in a coordinated effort to arrest dangerous fugitives and pursue sexual offenders wherever they are located. The Nevada FIST, led by the U.S. Marshals Service, is partnership comprised of law enforcement investigators from the Washoe County Sheriff’s Office, the Nevada Department of Public Safety (Probation & Parole), Sparks Police Department, and the Reno Police Department. In addition, the task force works closely with law enforcement agencies throughout Nevada.
