Pedophile Added to the Marshals Most Wanted

Albuquerque, NM- The United States Marshals Service in Albuquerque has added a new sex offender to its New Mexico’s Most Wanted list.

 

Raymond Vigil was convicted on May 29, 2002, in the State of New Mexico for 2 counts of Criminal Sexual Contact of a Minor, after he sexually assaulted two 9 and 12 year old girls.  Vigil is a Federal Tier III and New Mexico Tier II sex offender, required to register every 90 days for the rest of his life.  Vigil has been out of compliance with his sex offender registry since December 1, 2009. A warrant was issued for Vigil on December 7, 2009, by Sandoval County Sheriff’s Office for Failure to Register and Failure to Appear on previous Failure to Register charges.  Vigil was convicted of his first Failure to Register on May 26, 2006, in Sandoval County.  Vigil’s also has a criminal history including aggravated assault.
