| Arrest Made In Indiana Parental Abduction Case And Missing Child Recovered |

San Francisco, CA – U. S. Marshal Don
O’Keefe of the Northern District of California announced the arrest of
Maureen Graney. On November 9, 2010 Graney 32, was arrested for custodial
interference in Dublin California. During the arrest, investigators located the missing son who has been listed as an endangered missing person from Jasper County, Indiana since July 2010. The child was given to the custody of the Alameda County County Child Welfare Services until the legal custodial parent arrived to assume custody of him. Graney was booked into the Alameda County jail. This arrest was a result of the combined efforts of the Jasper County Indiana Sheriff’s Department, National Center for Missing and Exploited Children, US Marshal Investigators from Los Angeles, U.S. Marshals Great lakes Fugitive Task Force, Northern District of California Fugitive Task Force. The U.S. Marshals Service have developed close working relationships with other law enforcement agencies on fugitive matters, and it has a history of providing assistance, expertise and training to agencies on the federal, state, local and international levels.
