These two rival gangs allegedly have been feuding since November 2009 when a drive-by shooting took the lives of Christopher Powell, Charles Kittrell and a 20 month old baby girl named Shaniyah Burden.

Since Wednesday June 30th, 2010 Deputy US Marshals and agents have successfully arrested 15 known gang members in Colleton County, SC. The fifteen count indictment charged against these gang members includes alleged criminal acts such as: Murder, Assault & Battery with Intent to Kill, Possession of a Weapon, Arson, & Discharging a Firearm into an Occupied Conveyance. The gang members’ ages range from 16-29 years.

U.S. Marshal Kelvin Washington states “I am pleased with the results of this roundup. Gangs plague the smallest of communities and now the citizens of Walterboro can see some closure to this heinous offense from November 2009.
