Force in Sanford, Florida on February 16, 2010.
Davin Miquel Thomas, 24, was
wanted by the Savannah Chatham Metro Police Department on a

Robbery by Sudden Snatching. The victim in the case had a

snatched the bag from the victim and fled.
The case was referred to the United States Marshals Service
Savannah Office of the Southeast Regional Fugitive Task
Force in February 2010, to locate and arrest Miller. An

mother. The Savannah Regional Task Force provided this
information to the Orlando Office of the Florida Regional

16, 2010 for assistance. Due to the nature of the crimes,
the Orlando Task Force immediately began their investigation
to follow up on the leads from the Savannah Task Force. At
approximately five o’clock am on February 16, 2010, Orlando
Task Force investigators went the address of 5222 Hawkstone
Drive in Sanford, Florida and arrested Thomas. Thomas was
taken to the Orange County Jail to await extradition
proceedings back to Georgia.

result in the apprehension of over 36, 000 federal
fugitives. More federal fugitives are arrested by the
Marshals Service than all other federal agencies combined.
The Marshals Southeast Regional Fugitive Task Force has
three offices: Atlanta, Macon, and Savannah. The task force
covers the whole state of Georgia. The Savannah Office of
the Southeast Regional Fugitive Task Force is a team
