Fugitive Charged With Aggravated Assault With a Deadly Weapon |

Antonio, TX – The Lone Star Fugitive Task Force (LSFTF) arrested Pedro
Sanchez Monday afternoon after developing information that Sanchez may be
hiding out in San Antonio.Pedro Sanchez was charged in San Antonio, Texas on June 27, 2009 with Aggravated Assault with a Deadly Weapon. Sanchez is accused of stabbing the former boyfriend of Sanchez’s girlfriend. The victim and Sanchez’s girlfriend had a child together approximately 5 years ago. The victim saw his child in a vehicle owned by Sanchez at a convenience store and went and spoke with his child. Sanchez apparently became angry when he came out of the store and began to fight with the victim. Sanchez is accused of stabbing the victim once in the neck. Sanchez fled before police could arrive and has been in hiding ever since. On July 6, 2009, members of the LSFTF developed information Sanchez was located in the 500 block of Taft Place. LSFTF Members approached the residence and Sanchez was arrested without incident. The United States Marshal for the Western District of Texas LaFayette Collins said, “Our goal is to capture violent felons to ensure the streets are safer for the community.” Participating agencies in this arrest:
