U.S. MARSHALS TASK FORCE CONFIRMS COLORADO
SIGHTING OF MISSING TRUCK IN FUGITIVE ROBBI POTTER CASE |
|
|
Mansfield, OH – The U.S. Marshals
Northern Ohio Violent Fugitive Task Force is now confirming the suspected
truck in the case of fugitive sex offender Robbi Potter, 27, was captured on
a surveillance camera at an Ampride gas station in Stratton, Colorado on
June 2. This is the last confirmed sighting of the truck since it was
previously seen at a Wal-Mart in Marion, Ohio on May 31. Potter is a
convicted sex offender who authorities believe is on the run with his
girlfriend, Candace Watson, 24, and her 3-year-old daughter, Haylee
Elizabeth Jade Donathan.
Potter is wanted on a state warrant for parole violation and on a federal warrant for probation violation. Potter is a convicted Tier III sex offender for crimes of sex offense of a minor. On May 28, Potter fled a halfway house in Mansfield, which led to the violation charges. The surveillance footage from Colorado shows a female, believed to be Candace Watson, attempting to purchase fuel at the gas pump. Neither Potter nor Haylee were able to be seen in the footage. The truck is a 1988 two-tone black and green Chevrolet pick-up truck with Ohio plate ENS9729. Enhanced photos of the truck are attached below. The truck has orange lights along the top of the front windshield visor. The truck also has running boards along the sides. “Our Task Force is working around the clock to locate this fugitive and ensure the safety of this little child.” said U.S. Marshal Pete Elliott. “We ask anyone with information to please contact our hotline immediately and help us to bring a peaceful end to this intensive manhunt.” The U.S. Marshals Northern Ohio Violent
Fugitive Task Force is offering a $10,000 reward for information leading to
the arrest of Potter. Anyone with information should call the toll free
hotline: (866) 4WANTED. Callers may remain
anonymous. The Ohio Bureau of Criminal Identification & Investigation and the Crestline Police Department are also assisting in this investigation. Related News Releases:
