| Elyria Shooter Chased Down By Task Force |

On March 31, 2009, a gun fight occurred in front of a house on Middle Avenue in Elyria where two groups of young men and woman became involved in a verbal altercation which escalated. The investigation of the shooting led to an arrest warrant for Marvell Jones for Felonious Assault. This incident received a large amount of media attention within Lorain County. “Our Task Force Officers and Deputy Marshals will continue to work day and night to hunt down these violent fugitives to make Lorain County a safer place to live.” said U.S. Marshal Peter Elliott. “This is a great example of how well our partnership works in Lorain County!” If you have any information in reference to any wanted fugitive, please contact the Northern Ohio Violent Fugitive Task Force at 1-866-4WANTED.
