U.S. MARSHALS Track and Arrest Violent Fugitive Albert Montanez, Jr. from Milwaukee, Wisconsin to Lorain, Ohio
 
The U.S. Marshals Northern Ohio Violent Fugitive Task Force in coordination with the United States Marshals Service Great Lakes Regional Fugitive Task Force Eastern Wisconsin and the Lorain Police Department apprehended violent fugitive Albert F. Montanez, Jr. Montanez, a 20 year old white male, was wanted in connection to an Attempted Homicide which occurred on April 18, 2006.

Montanez and an associate allegedly calculated the murder of the victim on April 18, 2006. Montanez and his associate lured the victim and the victim’s friend into giving Montanez and his associate a ride to an unknown location. During the ride, Montanez and his associate, using knives, attempted to decapitate both victims who were seated in the front seat of a car. Both victims are recovering from there injuries.

After a lengthy investigation, Montanez was tracked by Deputy U.S. Marshals into the greater Lorain, Ohio area where the fugitive was located at 1794 E. 33rd St., in Lorain, OH. Montanez was arrested without incident.
