STEVEN ANTHONY TEEL       AGGRAVATED ASSAULT        OHIO

Chronic assault perpetrator, who vowed that he would not return to prison and would not be taken alive, was arrested by members of Operation FALCON and will return to prison. Steven Anthony Teel, 40, allegedly assaulted his girlfriend in San Diego, California by pouring hot grease on her, permanently scarring her. Teel has a criminal history that includes multiple arrests for assault and for attempted murder. Warrants for his arrest, obtained by the San Diego Police Department charging Teel with aggravated assault and parole violation from a previous assault conviction, were turned over to an Operation FALCON team. Interviews conducted by team members indicated statements by Teel that he would not return to prison and would not be taken alive. Operation FALCON teams developed information on four possible locations for Teel in Cincinnati, Ohio. FALCON team members conducted simultaneous inquiries at all four residences in the early morning hours. Teel was found asleep in a bedroom of one of the residences and arrested. He is being held without bond pending his extradition to San Diego, California.
