HIGHLIGHT ARREST

JEFFREY ROBERTSON       ATTEMPTED HOMICIDE       HOUSTON, TEXAS

On April 7, 2005, Jeffrey Robertson went into his son’s high school in Canton, Texas and shot his son’s football coach in the chest with a .45 caliber pistol. Robertson immediately fled the scene. He was believed to be well-armed and was reported to have a “hit list” with the names of additional targets. Following the shooting, the Texas Rangers contacted the local Operation FALCON team for assistance in the manhunt. Following a two hour search for Robertson, his vehicle was found near a golf course on the outskirts of town. Operation FALCON team members, along with other law enforcement officers, located and arrested Robertson in the woods near his abandoned truck. In his possession were two hand guns and a knife.
