District News: April 13, 2016 - The U.S. Marshals Service and the West Virginia State Police teamed up to conduct sex offender compliance checks during the last month in the Northern District of West Virginia. During the operations, 1,971 compliance checks were attempted on 1,550 sex offenders. As a result of the checks, 1,414 offenders were found in compliance and 136 offenders were found to be non-compliant.
