The U.S. Marshal Service, Eastern District of
Wisconsin, contracts with various holding facilities to meet
it's housing needs of federal prisoners while they are going
through their court proceedings. These facilities are required
to meet certain federal standards, and placement of federal
prisoners is based solely upon the needs of the Marshal's
Service.
After sentencing, these prisoners are
designated by the Federal Bureau of Prisons, and are sent to a
long term facility. Where prisoners are sent is determined by
the BOP, and prisoner information can be obtained at the
BOP website. |
