The Territory of Washington was created on March 2, 1853. The
District of Washington was created on February 22, 1889. The
District was effective upon the admission of Washington as a State on
November 11, 1889. The District was divided into two Districts,
the Western and Eastern Districts of Washington, on March 2, 1905.
Following is a list of the United States Marshals for the Territory
of Washington, District of Washington and the Western District of
Washington.
