  • July 29, 2015 - U.S. Marshal Robert W. Mathieson announces the capture of Gerald Leland Griffin. Griffin was wanted out of Delaware with an outstanding warrant for Rape Second Degree. Griffin, who is classified as a Violent Sex Offender, was convicted of Rape in Newport News back in 1989 and sentenced to 20 years in prison.
  • July 24, 2015 - An island paradise proved to be the final destination for 15 Most Wanted fugitive J’Wa Charlery when the Royal Virgin Island Police Force located and arrested him Thursday in Tortola, British Virgin Islands. Charlery is wanted by the Richmond, VA Police Department for allegedly murdering Eboniece Escobar on Nov. 2, 2014, in a Richmond hotel.
  • July 20, 2015 - United States Marshal Robert W. Mathieson announces the capture of Phillip Ohman. Ohman was wanted out of Maricopa County, Arizona, on 11 felony fraud-related charges in which he claimed to be a Navy SEAL as part of a scam he allegedly ran in Arizona.
  • July 10, 2015 - United States Marshal Robert W. Mathieson announces the capture of Ke’Zar Jones. Jones was wanted by the Norfolk Police Department for a shooting last Friday in which a six year-old boy was shot in the head.
  • July 08, 2015 - United States Marshal Robert W. Mathieson announces the capture of Malik Santiago. Santiago, a New York native, was wanted by the New York Police Department for a weapons offense stemming from a shooting that occurred in March of this year.
  • July 08, 2015 - United States Marshal Robert W. Mathieson announces the capture of Jerry Cooper. Cooper was wanted by Norfolk Police Department for the Armed Robbery of Bank of Hampton Roads which occurred last Friday.
  • July 07, 2015 - The U.S. Marshals Service gratefully announces that a 9-1-1 tip led to the safe rescue of critically missing child Hayleigh Wilson, 14, and the arrest of her alleged captor, Benjamin Shook, in Atkins, Virginia.
  • July 06, 2015 - U.S. Marshals and Virginia State Police, announce the arrest of 13 convicted felons, including 10 non-compliant sex offenders during “Operation Summer Heat”, a three day operation in Richmond, Virginia. “Summer Heat ran from June 30th thru July 2nd, targeting the city’s most dangerous criminals with a laser-like focus on violent sex offenders.
  • July 02, 2015 - 15 Most Wanted Addition - The U.S. Marshals Service announces the addition of alleged murder suspect J’Wa Charlery to its 15 Most Wanted fugitives list. On Nov. 2, 2014, the Richmond (Va.) Police Department responded to a call for emergency assistance at the Clarion Hotel located at 3207 North Boulevard. Upon arrival, officers were directed to a room where they discovered the body of Eboniece Escobar, who suffered a fatal gunshot wound to the head.
  • July 02, 2015 - The U.S. Marshals Fugitive Task Force in Richmond, Virginia arrested a man who is wanted for Murder in Trenton, NJ. Horace Gordon shot and killed his victim then fled the state of New Jersey to avoid arrest.
  • June 16, 2015 - U.S. Marshal Bobby Mathieson and Sussex County Sheriff Raymond Bell announce the arrest of Maxim Loyd Chisholm today in the City of Richmond, VA. Chisholm was arrested without incident after a traffic stop by a Richmond Police Department Patrol Unit.
  • June 11, 2015 - U.S. Marshal Robert W. Mathieson announces the capture of Raynard Brown. Brown is wanted by Portsmouth Police Department for the murder of Jamal Spratley which occurred on June 6th. Brown's warrants include; First Degree Murder, Use of a Firearm in Commission of a Felony, and Possession of a Firearm by a Convicted Felon.
  • June 05, 2015 - U.S. Marshal Robert W. Mathieson announces the capture of Michael Kuzminski, who was wanted by Chesapeake Sheriff’s Office for probation violation. Just yesterday, Kuzminski removed his court-ordered home monitoring ankle bracelet device, which he was required to wear after Failing to Register as a Violent Sex Offender.
  • May 28, 2015 - United States Marshal Robert W. Mathieson announces the capture of Anthony Worlds, who was wanted by the Norfolk Police Department for a shooting that occurred less than a week ago. Worlds had outstanding warrants for Malicious Wounding and Use of a Firearm in Commission of a Felony.
  • April 29, 2015 - Last night, combined efforts of the U.S. Marshals Florida Regional Fugitive Task Force and the U.S. Marshals Capital Area Regional Fugitive Task Force led to the arrest of Justin Jones. Jones was wanted by the Gainesville Police Department for Attempted Felony Murder, Robbery with a Firearm, and Possession of a Firearm by a Convicted Felon.
  • April 23, 2015 - The U.S. Marshals captured Alexander Rosevelt Hill, Jr., wanted on four counts of first-degree murder, at a homeless shelter in Buffalo, New York, this morning. The slayings occurred over the weekend of Easter 2014, but the trail for the suspect had been cold for a year.
  • April 20, 2015 - At the one-year anniversary of the tragic death of four Virginia family members, including a toddler, the U.S. Marshals are asking for the public’s help to find a dangerous fugitive. The suspect in the case, Alexander Rosevelt Hill, Jr., aka “Real Deal,” is wanted in Petersburg, Virginia, on four counts of first-degree Murder.
  • April 01, 2015 - This morning, the United States Marshals Fugitive Task Force in Kentucky arrested a man who had been wanted for more than a year on a Failure to Appear charge in Dinwiddie, Virginia. That charge stemmed from a 2013 conviction of Rape. Douglas “Scott” McBride jumped bond and never showed for his 2013 sentencing hearing in the Dinwiddie Circuit Court.
  • March 31, 2015 - Escapee Wossen Assaye is back in U.S. Marshals custody. Assaye was captured today in Washington, D.C., following his escape from Inova Fairfax hospital, where he was in custody, while being treated for injuries suffered in an apparent suicide attempt while at the William G. Truesdale Detention Center in Alexandria, Virginia.
  • March 26, 2015 - This morning, a male inmate in the custody of the Virginia Center for Behavioral Rehabilitation assaulted a guard at a treatment facility in Chesterfield County, VA. The inmate, Robert Hanna, then escaped and fled on foot toward the City of Richmond. Hanna, a convicted sex offender, was located by U.S. Marshals Task Force members in a crawl space beneath a residence.
  • March 23, 2015 - U.S. Marshal Robert Mathieson announces the arrest of Kellum Williams. Williams was wanted by the Tennessee Bureau of Investigation for First Degree Murder, Abuse of a Corpse and Violation of Community Corrections in Montgomery County Circuit Court in Clarksville, TN.
  • March 12, 2015 - United States Marshal Robert W. Mathieson announces the capture of Lenard Tyrone Davis, who is better known as “Jelly.” Davis had numerous outstanding felony warrants including; Attempted Malicious Wounding (five counts), and Hit & Run (one count). These warrants stem from an incident when it is alleged that Davis accelerated a vehicle directly towards multiple witnesses in order to flee a crime scene.
  • March 03, 2015 - U.S. Marshal Robert W. Mathieson announces the capture of Teon Garland. Garland had been on the run for over one year, with an outstanding warrant out of Portsmouth for Carnal Knowledge. In December 2013, it is alleged that Garland sexually assaulted a female under the age of sixteen while at a residence in Portsmouth.
  • February 24, 2015 - United States Marshal Robert W. Mathieson announces the capture of Willie Rollins. Rollins was wanted out of New London, Connecticut in relation to the sexual assault of a minor female that occurred in late 2014.
  • February 18, 2015 - United States Marshal Robert W. Mathieson announces the capture of Lonnie Duncan and Stacey Zell. The pair was wanted by the Muskogee Sheriff’s Office for Failing to Appear on multiple drug related charges.
  • January 29, 2015 - United States Marshal Robert W. Mathieson announces the capture of Andre Anthony Williams. Williams was wanted by the Norfolk Police Department for Felony Abuse and Neglect of Children.
  • January 15, 2015 - United States Marshal Robert W. Mathieson announces the capture of Taquan Worsley and Jamar Gay. Worsley and Gay were wanted by Chesapeake Police Department in connection to a drive-by shooting that injured three people.
  • January 14, 2015 - 15 Most Wanted Capture - U.S. marshals arrested career criminal and 15 Most Wanted fugitive Tam Minh Le on Tuesday evening at an Ashland, Virginia, motel. Philadelphia Police Department wanted Le for a brutal crime. On Aug. 27, 2014, he and his associates allegedly threw three men that were bound, beaten and stabbed in the Schuylkill River in Philadelphia, leaving them for dead. One of the victims miraculously survived the ordeal.
  • January 12, 2015 - United States Marshal Robert W. Mathieson announces the capture of Randy Wright. Wright was wanted in Connecticut for Sexual Assault 1st Degree of a Minor, Sexual Assault 2nd Degree of a Minor, and Risk of Injury to a Child.
  • January 06, 2015 - U.S. Marshal Robert W. Mathieson announces the capture of Kevin Jermaine Walker. Walker was wanted by the Norfolk Police Department in connection with a shooting that occurred on December 24, 2014. Walker had outstanding warrants for both Malicious Wounding and Use of a Firearm in Commission of a Felony.
  • December 24, 2014 - United States Marshal Robert W. Mathieson announces the capture of Damadre Wheeler. Wheeler was wanted by the Norfolk Police Department for failing to appear in court with the original charge of Strangulation Causing Wounding.
  • December 15, 2014 - United States Marshal Robert W. Mathieson announces the capture of Petro Johnson. Johnson was wanted by the Norfolk Police Department for three counts of Child Endangerment and one count of Destruction of Evidence. These charges stem from an incident that occurred in Norfolk before Thanksgiving of this year.
  • December 02, 2014 - U.S. Marshal Robert W. Mathieson announces the capture of homicide suspect, William Hamlin. Hamlin was wanted for a homicide that occurred in Norfolk, Virginia.
  • November 20, 2014 - U.S. Marshal Robert W. Mathieson announces the capture of Dominique Griffin. Griffin was wanted by the Portsmouth Police Department for Attempted Murder and firearm by felon. These charges stemmed from an incident at the Wawa on Victory Boulevard in the City of Portsmouth.
  • November 17, 2014 - The United States Marshals Fugitive Task Force arrested a man who had been wanted for more than a year, and had six felony warrants issued in the city of Richmond. Alonza Forbes was taken into custody after the task force developed information that he was likely hiding out at the apartment of a relative.
  • November 06, 2014 - U.S. Marshal Robert W. Mathieson announces the capture of Joven Covington, who was wanted for a home invasion that occurred in August 2013 in Norfolk. According to investigators, Covington and another individual entered a home and robbed the five individuals inside. During the robbery, gun shots were exchanged, and four individuals were struck, all with non-life threatening injuries.
  • October 24, 2014 - United States Marshal Robert W. Mathieson announces the capture of Andrew Wesley Roberts. Roberts was wanted out of Virginia Beach for Homicide, which occurred at Tropical Delights Restaurant and Lounge.
  • October 17, 2014 - United States Marshal Robert W. Mathieson announces the capture of Antonio Demon Smith. Smith was wanted out of the City of Chesapeake for Malicious Wounding, Robbery, Assault, Unlawful Use of a Vehicle and Strong Arm Robbery.
  • October 01, 2014 - Today, four individuals were arrested by the U.S. Marshals Service deputies and Task Force officers. Trudale Terry was wanted in Newport News for Homicide, Demarcus Twyman was wanted in Western District of Virginia for Malicious Wounding, which later resulted in the death of the victim, Maurice Moore was wanted in Norfolk for Rape, Forcible Sodomy and other sex crimes and Lavan Platt was wanted in Norfolk for Armed Robbery and Possession of a Firearm by Felon.
  • September 25, 2014 - The U.S. Marshal for the Eastern District of Virginia, Robert W. Mathieson, announces the capture of Terrence Lee. Lee was wanted by the Norfolk Police Department for Aggravated Malicious Wounding.

  • August 07, 2014 - United States Marshal Robert W. Mathieson announces the capture of Erica Arnold. Arnold was wanted by Chesapeake police on multiple warrants for guns and drug offenses.
  • August 04, 2014 - United States Marshal Bobby Mathieson is proud and honored to announce today, that Governor Terence R. McAuliffe has issued a proclamation, which recognizes September 24th, 2014, as U.S. Marshals Day, in the Commonwealth of Virginia.
  • June 09, 2014 - U.S. Marshals are expanding their manhunt nationally and offering a $5,000 reward for information leading to the arrest of Alexander Roosevelt Hill, Jr., aka “Real Deal,” wanted as a person of interest in the deaths of four people, including a small child, in Petersburg, Virginia on April 19.
  • June 06, 2014 - U.S. Marshals are releasing information in the fugitive hunt for Alexander Rosevelt Hill, Jr. a/k/a “Real Deal”, wanted in Petersburg, VA for Violation of a Protective Order. He is a person of interest in the deaths of four people, including a small child, in Petersburg in the early morning hours on April 19, 2014.
  • May 23, 2014 - United States Marshal for the Eastern District of Virginia, Robert W. Mathieson, announces the capture of Shymeek Stanfield, who was wanted by Smithfield Police for a homicide that occurred in 2012.
  • May 01, 2014 - The U.S. Marshal for the Eastern District of Virginia, Robert W. Mathieson, announces the capture of Charlie Abrams. Abrams was wanted for Failing to Register as a Convicted Sex Offender. Abrams was previously convicted of Carnal Knowledge of a victim, 13-15 years of age in Norfolk, VA.
  • April 22, 2014 - U.S. Marshal Robert Mathieson announces the arrest of LaFonzo French. French was wanted by the Fauquier County Sheriff’s Office and Virginia State Probation and Parole Division for a total of seven felony arrest warrants.
  • April 18, 2014 - U.S. Marshal Robert Mathieson announces the capture of Allen Robert Turner, a fugitive wanted on charges stemming from a felony rape conviction which occurred over 10 years ago.
  • April 02, 2014 - The U.S. Marshal for the Eastern District of Virginia, Robert W. Mathieson, announces the capture of Monte Robinson. Robinson was wanted out of the city of Suffolk for Homicide and other gun charges related to the murder.
  • March 26, 2014 - U.S. Marshal Robert Mathieson announces the capture of Willie Daquan Lee. Lee has been indicted by the Grand Jury in Richmond, VA, charged with the Feb. 23 shooting death of Kahron Lee, a student at Virginia Union University.
  • March 14, 2014 - The United States Marshal for the Eastern District of Virginia, Robert W. Mathieson announces the capture of Damian Banks. Mr. Banks was wanted out of York, PA for Homicide.
  • March 05, 2014 - The U.S. Marshal for the Eastern District of Virginia, Robert W. Mathieson, announces the capture of Edmond Ramjohn. Mr. Ramjohn was wanted out of Virginia Beach for Rape – Incapacitated Female and Rape – Incest with an Adult.
  • February 28, 2014 - The U.S. Marshals Service in the Eastern District of Virginia, along with the U.S. Marshals Capital Area Regional Fugitive Task Force, captured Eric Hartwell today in Norfolk, Va. Hartwell was wanted by the U.S. Marshals Service Colorado Violent Offender Task Force for Violation of Federal Supervised Release and by the Colorado Department of Corrections Division of Adult Parole for Parole Violation.
  • February 19, 2014 - The United States Marshal for the Eastern District of Virginia, Robert W. Mathieson, announces the capture of Jeffrey Jennings. On June 29, 2013, warrants were issued by the City of Suffolk, VA for Jeffrey Jennings for Homicide, Possession with Intent to Distribute, and weapons charges related to the homicide.
  • February 11, 2014 - U.S. Marshal Robert Mathieson announces the capture of Tresean Coy. Coy was wanted by the Richmond City Police Department in connection with a violent shooting which occurred on Jan. 16 in Richmond, VA. The victim in this case was viciously shot three times in the head during the commission of a robbery.
  • January 31, 2014 - U.S. Marshal Robert Mathieson announces the capture of Jose Abel Palencia Samayoa. Palencia Samayoa was wanted by the Denton County Sherriff’s Office in Texas for aggravated sexual assault of a minor, as well as taking indecent liberties with a minor.
  • January 22, 2014 - U.S. Marshal Robert Mathieson announces the capture of Jorge Omar Alvarez-Turcios. Alvarez-Turcios was wanted by the U.S. Marshals Service in the federal Eastern District of Virginia for a supervised release violation stemming from underlying charges which include fraud.
  • January 08, 2014 - The U.S. Marshal for the Eastern District of Virginia, Robert W. Mathieson announces the capture of Demetrius Jamal Jones. Mr. Jones was wanted out of Norfolk, VA on Abduction: of Person w/Intent to Defile, Cause Sodomy Child <13 Accused 18 years or older, Indecent Liberties: Expose Genitals to Child, Indecent Exposure, and Contributing to the Delinquency of a Minor.
  • January 07, 2014 - U.S. Marshal Robert Mathieson announces the capture of Archie Terrace Darby. Darby was wanted by the U.S. Marshals Service in the federal District of South Carolina for a supervised release violation stemming from an underlying charge of fraud.
