October 23, 2015 - A murder fugitive, wanted by the U.S. Marshals Gulf Coast Violent Offenders and Fugitive Task Force, was located and arrested by Mexican authorities in the beach town of Rosarito, Mexico near the U.S. – Mexico border. Last night after being identified as Troy Aaron Clay by a San Diego Police Detective Liaison on behalf of the U.S. Marshals Task Force in San Diego, Clay was returned to the United States and is currently awaiting extradition back to Harris County, TX.
August 27, 2015 - On August 26, 2015, the Gulf Coast Violent Offenders and Fugitive Task Force arrested David Donaldson. Donaldson was wanted in Nueces County for two counts of Indecency with a Child by Sexual Contact and two counts of Failure to Appear.
April 24, 2014 - Members of the U.S. Marshals Gulf Coast Violent Offender and Fugitive Task Force escorted an international fugitive back to the United States today following his extradition from Mexico. Juan Jose Salaz was wanted for escaping a Texas prison 17 years ago.
April 15, 2014 - The U.S. Marshals Service for the Southern District of Texas, announces the Investiture Ceremony of newly appointed Marshal Gary Blankinship, U.S. Marshal for the Southern District of Texas. The investiture will be held on Thursday April 17, 2014 at 2:30 p.m. The ceremony will be at The Historical 1910 Courthouse, 301 Fannin St, Houston, TX 77002.
January 14, 2014 - The United States Marshals-multi agency led Gulf Coast Violent Offenders Fugitive Task Force announces the arrest of two fugitives wanted by law enforcement authorities in Oklahoma. Edward Heath McCoy and Mathew Vernon McCoy are wanted by the Garvin County Sheriff’s Office for conspiring to distribute methamphetamine.
January 14, 2014 - The United States Marshals-multi agency led Gulf Coast Violent Offenders Fugitive Task Force announces the arrest of Luis Humberto Olivo. Olivo is wanted by the McAllen Police Department on three separate counts of Aggravated Robbery.
