
Warren D. Anderson |
Warren D. Anderson was nominated by President George W
Bush to serve as the United States Marshal for the District of South
Dakota. His nomination was confirmed by the U. S. Senate and he took his
oath of Office on April 26, 2002. Warren is a lifelong South Dakota
resident.
Warren began his law enforcement career with the South Dakota Highway
Patrol on November 18, 1974. He subsequently worked as a trooper, Field
Sergeant, Administrative Sergeant, Field Lieutenant and District
Commander before retiring after more than 26 years of service.
Warren is currently serving on the Operations Review Panel for the U. S.
Marshals headquarters in Arlington, VA. He is a member of the
International Association of Chiefs of Police, SD Peace Officers
Association and the South Dakota Highway Patrol Retirees Association.
Warren is a member and holds several board of director positions for
many community service organizations. |
