United States Marshal Paul C. Thielen

Paul C. Thielen was sworn in on October 20, 2010 to be the United States Marshal for the District of South Dakota.

Paul C. Thielen has served as a senior criminal investigator Deputy U.S. Marshal with the U.S. Marshals Service in the District of South Dakota since 1995. Mr. Thielen joined the U.S. Marshals Service in 1988 and was stationed in the Northern District of Oklahoma from 1988 to 1995. Mr. Thielen previously worked for the Rapid City Police Department and the Pennington County Sheriff’s Office, Corrections Division. He earned his Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of South Dakota in 2003.
