March 30, 2014 - Due to the collaborative efforts of the United States Marshals Service Metro Fugitive Task Force, the Western District of Louisiana sub office in Alexandria, LA, and the Oklahoma City U.S. Marshals Sex Offender Investigation Unit, fugitive Sex Offender Stanley Jones was arrested today.

August 09, 2011 - On August 4, 2011 the United States Marshals along with Grady County Jail personnel thwarted an attempt to escape from jail by federal prisoner Sergio Contreras-Sanchez, aka “Boxer”. Also arrested in the escape attempt was Maria Jimenez, girlfriend to Contreras-Sanchez.

June 28, 2011 -  The McClain County Sheriff’s Office contacted the U.S. Marshals to request immediate assistance following the escape of Shaun Bosse, who was wanted for triple murder of his girlfriend, her 8-year-old son and 6-year-old daughter in 2008.  Bosse had allegedly stabbed the girlfriend and son and then set fire to the trailer where the girl slept.  Bosse had overpowered a jailer, stolen a vehicle, cell phone, and flashlight and had been unaccounted for several hours.

March 25, 2010 - The U.S. Marshals Task Force tracked down Kelvin Bryant, wanted for three counts of first degree murder out of Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, the case had been listed as a Marshal Service Major Case. The diligent work by the Metro Fugitive Task Force led the investigation to Culberson St, where it was believed that Bryant, who was using the alias Joseph Bryant was staying with a family friend.  Contact with the residence was made by task force team members and Bryant  was taken into custody without incident.
